Pre- & Postnatal FAMO Fascia Movement Workshop
Pregnancy and postnatal recovery are extraordinary phases in a woman’s life.
During this time the body adapts in remarkable ways – especially through the dynamic responsiveness of the fascial network.
Supporting women in this transformative journey calls for sensitivity, knowledge and a movement approach that honours the body’s natural intelligence.
Are you a movement professional working with pregnant women or mothers in their postnatal recovery?
Join Bea for an inspiring workshop that explores the art and science of FAMO Fascia Movement, specifically adapted for the pre- and postnatal period.
In this workshop you will receive an introduction to the FAMO Fascia Movement Trinity and discover how fascia-focused training differs from traditional muscle-focused approaches.
Through selected FAMO exercises you will explore key fascial movement qualities such as tensional strength, fluidity, glide, responsiveness, multidimensionality, elasticity and tone regulation, and experience how these qualities support adaptable, resilient movement.
Special attention is given to the fascial “roundhouses” of the body, including the pelvic floor, the linea alba and the thoracolumbar fascia – and their role in functional core integration during pregnancy and postnatal recovery.
The workshop combines embodied anatomy and practical movement exploration.
